Did anyone tinker with visitor behavior in here for GEP2???

Is that why they're cheap-ass baterds? Please let me know...

of course they modded visitor behavior... its in the list of mods they did for the GEPv2 if you cared to "Read"

Because you'd be wiling to pay $30 for a burger and a salad, right?
I'm sure you wouldn't since, for the same thing, I pay less than €10, which makes it less than a third of the price I could milk from the visitors before I modded it.

I modded the buildings to more "realistic" pricings because it works two ways:
1. Visitors have a more realistic approach to what they're willing to pay
2. Makes for a more challenging gameplay

I think the main problem is with the price of the goods
Either they are really cheap (and so you can lower the prices) or they are expensive and high quality. As they are buying quality they shouldn't care about the price

There are quality burgers out there
However I still wouldn't pay that much for a burger, even if it was the nicest burger in the world
I was also talking about the prices of the goods in general. The cost of food should generally be lower, say $5 at most to buy a burger. Toilets should be in the realm of cents. Gift shops stuff should be a good $10 cheaper.

What's a matter with you guys?!? It sez "REX burger" so it must be made from ground T Rex!!!

(just joking - it has been known to happen...)

DL there can eat ac McDonald's all he likes, but I would far rather cough up $30 for what is bound to be QUALITY (and so far as Hammond explained in JP movie, it was) vs. a certain % of SAWDUST. Nobody's going to buy a $30 burger if it's McDo quality, that goes without saying....

Since this is a mod tutorial thread, I ask what do we need to mod and where for pricing behavior?

I agree, Macdonalds is only good cause it's cheap. Burger king is the best fast food restaurant for quality (UK only chain).

No, pricing behaviour is not controlled by FSMs.

Burger King is quite good. I work there, (and sadly know things I wish to God I didnt) but still think I like Wendys better. But McDonnalds bites.

Rather than resurrect a crap-fast food burger debate, I'd like to ask one more time:

How do I mod visitor pricing behavior?

Since this thread IS modding tutorial, I'm sure there are alot more others out there who would appreciate an answer as well as me.

It adds a new level of strategy to the game. And whilst it is hard to keep it satisfied, where would the fun come from if its easy?

I'm not proud, it's not my fault you can't cope with feasible visitor fees. Nor is it my fault you can't discern which place your doubts belong to.

You downloaded the GEP, you knew what it brought. I didn't force it on you, did I?
If it's anyone's screw up, it's yours and yours alone for not reading what it brought and not taking proper measures in case you wouldn't like what you got.
