Migration

Unread postby Darties » Sat, 3rd Dec 2011 18:40

Hi. I'm a newbie MG so I don't really know where to put the posts and stuff.

So let's get to it. I was thinking could you make herbivores migrate to like the other side of the island when the food supply runs out. (not that the supply can run out but, just sayin') The herbivores just normally stay right where there a hatched unless a carnivore comes to chase them but then they just get scattered. It would make the game more realistic as well as keep the carnivores on their toes to keep up with them. I think it would keep the game exciting and less boring.
I don't know if they already do this but as for me it has not happened.

Please post your opinions and answers. Thanks! :)

Well, actually. Some species of dinos in the game, like the camarasaurs or hadrosaurs, migrate to the bottom left of the island. In my game anyway.

All of the dinosaurs migrate to the bottom left of the island by default. Unless you have a mod such as the GEP. The idea is good but rather complicated. As for the stalking carnivores, there are some simlar things on the GEP as well
