Ok, I used the cloning methods to change RaptorC (I have the multiple raptor mod) into a Deinonychus, but when I started up the game, it's name didn't appear! :notrust: Did I do something wrong or is it supposed to do that?
What, was I supposed to put something here?

Did you edit the eng.txt in the GUI/locales folder?

Yes I did. Does the fact that I live in the UK change anything?

Well I noiced an eng-uk.txt file in the GUI/Locales folder.

It doesn't matter anymore, I've sussed it. I didn't need to change any filenames in the first place, just the display name in the eng.txt document.

Units. Everything goes in the same folder as they were found.

yea, but when i try that, it only puts the notpad file back in units. when i try the other to, it always says "would you like to replace edmontosaurus with this file". i say no, but then the two files dont copy back into units. :notrust:

1. no, im windows xp.
2.its ok, ive sorted it. when i downloaded the film canon mod from jplegacy, it added a tml file and notpad file to my computer named "iguan" and "iguan.nwt". if they would have put the other tml file in, i would have had an iguanadon by now and an edmontosaurus.
3.when i said "its ok, ive sorted it." i actually copied the edmont tml file that didnt end in ".nwt" the one the film cannon mod didnt put into units with the other two.anyway, when i said "i copied the edmont tml file to another empty folder", i then renamed it from edmont to iguan. then, i copied that iguan file to units, it was then all sorted. but when i started the game, i went on to the hatchery, large herbivores, and the large herbivore before edmontosaurus. when i clicked on the arrow on the right to go to edmontosaurus, the game crashed  and i had to re-install the game. all my saved games where lost and etherything. please someone help :sweatdrop: :bored: :x3:

When I followed this tutorial step by step it worked. the only thing is when I started the game the name doesn't show up in the hatchery. What could I have done wrong?

*EDIT* nevermind, I figured out what I did wrong.

Gee, that's really helpful.

Could you be more specific? What files did you edit, and how?
