TML Tools, now with a fixed link

Unread postby MastaFoo69 » Fri, 24th Apr 2009 19:35

Well Everyone, .TML Tools is up and finally finished. TML Builder was too inefficient, and I wanted a better program to help the community more. :amused:

Sadly, however, I did break down and upload the program to filebeam, because DL was a tid-bit too lazy to fix attachments. :bored:

Anywhoo, There is an included readme file and the .NET framework is included. So, Without further ado, I give you..... TML TOOLS!!!!!!!!!

DOWNLOAD NOW!

UPDATE: September 3, 2013, 1:37 EST

UPDATE: Tuesday, May 12, 2009 @ 12:23 PM EST

System Requirements:
Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003; Windows Server 2008; Windows Vista; Windows XP
Processor: 400 MHz Pentium processor or equivalent (Minimum); 1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (Recommended)
RAM:96 MB (Minimum); 256 MB (Recommended)
Hard Disk: Up to 500 MB of available space may be required
Display: 800 x 600, 256 colors (Minimum); 1024 x 768 high color, 32-bit (Recommended)
Software required: .NET framework 3.5 (run the installer that comes with the program)

How To Use

I designed .TML TOOLS to be as user friendly as possible. To build the .TML of your dreams simply do the following:

1) Select the desired digsite.
2) Select the desired .dds file for each dinosaur, both dead and alive.
3) Name your .tml file. Some users think that the name box is for a file location. It is not. You just name your .tml file. If you want it to be, lets say "dinos_judithriver_B" type: "dinos_judithriver_B". You do not, I repeat DO NOT have to type in a file path OR the '.tml' part.
4) Hit the "Build my TML!" button. The output .tml will be in the ROOT of the TML TOOLS folder.

Great tool, but I'm having the same problem as well, the only box I can add a skin to is the top left. I can type in the paths manually but get this error when I try to build the tml:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. I forgot. One request for an update would be to add support for opacity maps.

Creates the output tml nicely now. It does get an error if you try to specify a path for the output though. In game, all dinos with that tml turn white.
