I feel like a total noob-ish idiot for asking, but can I have a tutorial please? The whole skinning process is still a wee bit confusing for me.

Here are some tools for the actual skinning:

viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2024&start=0
(this one I don't know if it is about skinning, or putting them in game.)

Okay, I have the skin I want to put in-game (according to Docszoo, still needs work, but I'll try it anyway...), but I'm still not quite getting how to deal with this, and it doesn't like dealing with me...

So I put my DDS skin as the 'Dead Dino File', and the original Dino DDS into the 'Live Dino File'...
Specify where I want it to go, and it says...

make your new skin into a DDS file. Then, take out all the other skins from the tml, and make them into DDS files. The rest is easy to understand if you can read. I believe if you leave it blank, it will remain the original one. Not sure. Try it out on your own.

I did what you said then replaced the old digsite tml with the new one in matlibs, but nothing has happened, and I still have the old skin when I play the game. :C:

Any thoughts/suggestions?
