Build powerbox in the park

Description
Allows the user to build the hatchery powerbox in there park



Known Issues
None


Tutorial

First, open Units\hatchpwr.ini, Insert
Code: Select all
    FootprintX= 1 ;
    FootprintY= 1 ;

Above "UseINX=1".

Then open Units\hatchpwr.inx, Insert
Code: Select all
    NumExits=1;
    Exit[ 0 ] {
        PosX=1;
        PosY=0;
      Type=ArrowRight;
    }

Inside Building {} section. This will let you change powerox's facing.

And insert
Code: Select all
PreviewScene
{
   CamPosition = {0, -6.5, -10};
   CamAngle = 30;

   Model
   {
      Model = powerbox;
      Position = {0, 0, 0};
   }
   Model
   {
      Model = GrndPW;
      Position = {0, 0, 0};
   }
}

Above "Particle". This make the preview scene of powerbox consistent with other buildings.

Go to your GUI folder, open bldmenu.ini, insert
Code: Select all
         unit = hatchpwr;

inside the section you want. I place it inside "security".

Open texture.gui, insert this line into anywhere you want.
Code: Select all
Menu_ParkManager_hatchpwr   Menu_Buttons5   0   64   64   64   0   false   false   false;

This make powerbox use hatchery icon in build menu. Or you can use other icon for it.

You should now be able to build the powerbox, though it doesn't have any real purpose... lol

A pretty basic mod. Its nice to see old mods making a come back.

Updates:

1)Found another nice icon, just change Menu_Buttons5 to Menu_Buttons7. It's a symbol of electricity.

2)If you want to build powerbox on roads, insert

I'm not sure.:P

At least the simjp.exe is different so that this version can load different locales via registry. I can play English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese(Traditional) version of JPOG.

There're 2 additional Japanese-voiced intro movie in movies folder, and some additional tml files for CJK fonts.

I don't have the ingame.tml either. Strange. What's inside the ingame.tml?

menu_buttons1,2,4,7
menu_menubkg
sea
sniper1
upgrades_purchase
upgrades_upgrades1,2

mostly icons and ui pics.
