Tree Poop Mod

K, this is a small mini mod I found out. Heres what you do...
Go to your excrmnt.ini file in your C:\Program Files\Universal Interactive\Blue Tongue Software\Jurassic Park Operation Genesis\JPOG\Data\Units Folder. Open it up. Now, go down to this line:
Animations {
Model=excrmnt;
}

And change excrmnt to any one of these:
chkfernl
chkferns
chkfernm
cocopalm
dpalml
fernsm
jpalmm
jpalms
jpalml
paleocyc
paleojp
sagopalm
treefrns
treefrnl
treefrnm


This makes dinosaurs poop new trees big or small, or original. It makes your park have a more realistic forest, like big trees and stuff. Try all the models out and choose one you like. No bugs found so far. Pic:

Now, I may understand that most people will think that you can do this like any other poop mod, like just renaming something "excrmnt" and replacing the excrmnt file. Well, you cant. Game will crash. So dont try the original poop mod on this.

Hey JPI! Good to see ya!

Great mod, at first I thought what was the point. Now I realize that it would be much better to have trees at different levels off the ground.

It'll look so awesome! BTW, I have an idea. You know my brach eating mod? Where the brach rises on its feet to eat from tall trees? The problem I had was that the brach (when rearing up) was taller than the tree. How about I make the brach poop whenever it is hungry, (so the tree will probably grow bigger) and then make it eat the tree by standing up? It might not work if the poo was still classed as poo and not 'food'... I don't know, I might try it!

Its fine with me if you use it. But I think itll be impossible, because the only way to do that would be the original poop mod on the trees, which I noted wasnt possible.

Truly amazing thinking. Right now, I am trying to figure how to make these giant "poops" to not only be food, but also regonized as plants to the hervivores, so the scene of the brachs during the intro can be mimiced. If they are not regonized, then the hervavores will collapse right in the middle of the water. Thank you much :)

Also, people have tried to make dinosaurs eat poop, as a compy mod, and have failed.

It would be easy to get a herbivore to eat it. Not a carnivore.

Look at random trees from the list provided, and see for yourself :)

The best I got on herbivores eating the tree was changing the excrmnt's FoodVal to 1. There are other things I am sure, but thats what I got.
