Problem is, we moved on. Most of us don't even have the game installed any longer...

Even I no longer have my game on windows registry...

Just asking, and this is probably a stupid question,(but I can't find an answer anywhere) Is anyone currently working on trying to get the GEP working on Windows 7?

But the GEP is working fully on Win7! Atleast for me. The only problem on Win7 is the driveby cheat won't work and I'm dying to kill that pesky T-rex who kills me in Carnivore Safari mission.

For me, JPOG and all mods work on my WIndows 7 laptop, and as far as I know, all cheats work. I'll just check multi safari cars cheat.

Well I've noticed that since I installed JPOG on to my Wind.7, the damn thing wont let me have the more detailed buildings at all. Even with EVERYTHING at thier highest levels...nothing. Just the cheap crappy buildings. WHY?!?!

Same problem here. YOu just have to launch JPOG through the setup application, instead of the default shortcut. Just adds a few more seconds, but it's worth it.

I've got the same problem. I used the setup application to set to high levels, but when I click on the desktop icon, it still gives me the low-level buildings.

I've been doing this; it's annoying but I guess that's the only real solution.

Right-click the file you're editing, then go to properties, then security, then click the 'edit' button and go to the 'users' (or osmething like that, the bottom one i think) and edit and check full control. OK it and then you should be able to edit.

I was trying to work out how to edit JPOG files through Windows 7, and I think I've found a way. You need to right click on JPOG on your DESKTOP and click "Open File Location". All the files you need for editing and modding should be there. Perhaps this could be incorporated into making a Windows 7 fix for the GEP?

Mine seems to work on both of my windows 7 pc's.

My windows 8 developer edition pc runs Jpog as well. And of course, no problems with XP.

I do recall a cheat or 2 not working, but nothing detrimental to the gameplay. Also, most of the cheats can be done through the constant ini, so I'm not to worried.
